0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE FOR THE OPERATION OF AN

0013|     ALTERNATIVE PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL BY COLFAX COUNTY.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred seventeen thousand
    |
0017|     eight hundred dollars ($217,800) is appropriated from the
    |
0018|     general fund to the local government division of the department
    |
0019|     of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0020|     1997 for the purpose of contracting to Colfax county to
    |
0021|     establish and operate an alternative public high school in Raton
    |
0022|     in Colfax county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0023|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the
    |
0024|     general fund.
