0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CONTRACT FOR SERVICES TO THE DONA ANA

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred eighty thousand
    |
0018|     dollars ($180,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0019|     local government division of the department of finance and
    |
0020|     administration for expenditure in fiscal year 1997 for the
    |
0021|     purpose of contracting for services to the Dona Ana county
    |
0022|     sheriff for a pilot juvenile gang interception and surveillance
    |
0023|     program.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
    |
0024|     the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
