APPROPRIATIONS.-- | 0020| A. The following amounts are appropriated to the | 0021| following agencies for the following purposes for expenditure in | 0022| fiscal year 1997: | 0023| (1) three hundred fifty thousand dollars | 0024| ($350,000) from the general fund to the children, youth and | 0025| families department to expand the project forward program child-care services to areas of the state currently without such | 0001| child-care services; | 0002| (2) one million dollars ($1,000,000) from the | 0003| general fund to the children, youth and families department to | 0004| extend transitional child-care coverage an additional twelve | 0005| months to families that leave the aid to families with dependent | 0006| children program because of increased earnings and to increase | 0007| the availability of child care to income-eligible parents; | 0008| (3) one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) | 0009| from the general fund to the human services department for | 0010| relocation assistance for parents who receive assistance from | 0011| the aid to families with dependent children program; and | 0012| (4) thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) from | 0013| the general fund to the human services department for the | 0014| purpose of paying for telephone service for parents who receive | 0015| assistance from the aid to families with dependent children | 0016| program. | 0017| B.
