0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR OPERATING COSTS AT THE INSTITUTE OF

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars
    |
0018|     ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New
    |
0019|     Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0020|     1997 for the purpose of funding operations at the institute of
    |
0021|     American Indian arts in the city of Santa Fe located in Santa Fe
    |
0022|     county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the
    |
0023|     end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
