0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY FOR

0013|     CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT AND CULTURAL AWARENESS PROGRAMS.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Fifty-five thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($55,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of
    |
0018|     regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in
    |
0019|     fiscal year 1997 for the purpose of curriculum development and
    |
0020|     cultural awareness programs to acknowledge the unique qualities
    |
0021|     of class, status, gender, race, disability and ethnicity.  Any
    |
0022|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0023|     fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
