     Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
  
                         HOUSE BILL 294
                                 
  has had it under consideration and reports same with
  recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
     1.  On page 1, line 11, after "TO" insert "REIMBURSE CASH
  BALANCES EXPENDED TO".
  
     2.  On page 1, line 17, after "of" strike the remainder of the
  line and on line 18, strike "elementary school leases in Valencia
  county."  and inset in lieu thereof "reimbursing the Los Lunas school
  district for operational cash balances expended for the purchase of
  land at Ann Parish elementary school in Valencia county.".,
  
  and thence referred to the TAXATION AND REVENUE
  COMMITTEE.
