0012| MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE JUDICIAL EDUCATION CENTER AT THE

0013| INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC LAW AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO SCHOOL

0014| OF LAW FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING TRAINING TO JUDGES AND COURT
|
0015| PERSONNEL.

0017| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
|
0018| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--
|
0019| A. Thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) is appropriated
|
0020| from the general fund to the judicial education center at the
|
0021| institute of public law at the university of New Mexico school
|
0022| of law for expenditure in fiscal year 1997 in the following
|
0023| amounts and for the following purposes:
|
0024| (1) twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) to
|
0025| provide management training programs for magistrate judges and
|
0001| court personnel in the magistrate court system; and
|
0002| (2) ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to send
|
0003| recently appointed district court judges to a general
|
0004| jurisdiction training course presented by the national judicial
|
0005| college.
|
0006| B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
|
0007| at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
