On page 1, line 12, before the period insert "; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY". 2. On page 1, line 24, strike "only once". 3. On page 1, line 25, remove the brackets and line-through and strike "five". 4. On page 2, line 1, after the period insert "The tax may be imposed for an additional period not to exceed three years from the date of the ordinance imposing the tax for that period.". 5. On page 2, between lines 16 and 17, insert the following new section: "Section 3. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately."., and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
