0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR FAMILY DEVELOPMENT TRAINING

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand
    |
0017|     dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0018|     board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure
    |
0019|     in fiscal year 1997 for family development training programs to
    |
0020|     increase the participation of low-income parents in the
    |
0021|     education of their children.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0022|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to
    |
0023|     the general fund.
