0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF

0013|     EDUCATIONAL COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY FOR THE P.R. LEYVA JUNIOR HIGH

0014|     SCHOOL IN EDDY COUNTY; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand
    |
0018|     dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0019|     state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal
    |
0020|     years 1996 and 1997 for the purpose of purchasing and installing
    |
0021|     educational computer technology at the P.R. Leyva junior high
    |
0022|     school in the Carlsbad municipal school district in Eddy county. 
    |
0023|     Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0024|     fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0025|       Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0001|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
