0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR PARENT INVOLVEMENT WORKSHOPS IN THE

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Twelve thousand five hundred
    |
0017|     dollars ($12,500) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0018|     state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal
    |
0019|     year 1997 for the purpose of conducting parent involvement
    |
0020|     workshops in the Albuquerque public schools.  Any unexpended or
    |
0021|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997
    |
0022|     shall revert to the general fund.

    |
0020|   committee by November 1, 1996, detailing the benefits of this
    |
0021|   program to the targeted population.".,
    |

0023|   and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE
    |
