0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO TRAIN OR HIRE EMERGENCY MEDICAL

0013|     TECHNICIANS IN THE JEMEZ VALLEY IN SANDOVAL COUNTY; DECLARING AN

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Sixty thousand dollars
    |
0018|     ($60,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0019|     department of health for expenditure in fiscal years 1996 and
    |
0020|     1997 for the purpose of training, if necessary, and hiring two
    |
0021|     additional licensed emergency medical technicians to be
    |
0022|     stationed at the pueblo of Jemez to respond to emergency medical
    |
0023|     needs of Jemez valley residents.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0024|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to
    |
0025|     the general fund.
    |
0001|       Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0002|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
