0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE LEADERSHIP TRAINING AND STAFF

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand
    |
0017|     dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0018|     state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal
    |
0019|     year 1997 for the purpose of contracting for professional
    |
0020|     development training for school leaders.  Any unexpended or
    |
0021|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997
    |
0022|     shall revert to the general fund.
