  Mr. Speaker:
  
     Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
  
                         HOUSE BILL 739
                                 
  has had it under consideration and reports same with
  recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
          1.  On page 1, lines 12 and 13, strike "JUVENILE
  CORRECTIONAL AND REHABILITATIVE FACILITIES" and insert in lieu
  thereof "A SECURE JUVENILE CORRECTIONAL FACILITY".
  
     2.  On page 1, lines 24 and 25, strike "twelve million one
  hundred eighty-five thousand dollars ($12,185,000)" and insert in
  lieu thereof "five million five hundred ninety thousand nine hundred
  forty-one dollars ($5,590,941)".
  
     3.  On page 3, line 18, strike "twelve million one", strike all
  of lines 19 through 21 and insert in lieu thereof "five million five
  hundred ninety thousand nine hundred forty-one dollars ($5,590,941)
  for planning and construction of a secure juvenile correctional
  facility.".
  
     4.  On page 4, line 9, strike "and rehabilitative".
  
     5.  On page 4, line 11, strike "twelve", strike lines 12 and
  13, and on line 14, strike "rehabilitative facilities" and insert in
  lieu thereof "five million five hundred ninety thousand nine hundred
  forty-one dollars ($5,590,941) for planning and construction of a
  secure juvenile correctional facility".,
  
  and thence referred to the TAXATION AND REVENUE
  COMMITTEE.
