0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars
    |
0018|     ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state
    |
0019|     department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0020|     1997 for the purpose of providing teaching and instructional
    |
0021|     services and purchasing necessary supplies and materials for the
    |
0022|     after-school academy for at-risk students at Alamosa elementary
    |
0023|     school in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county.  Any unexpended or
    |
0024|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997
    |
0025|     shall revert to the general fund.
