0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Thirty-five thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($35,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of
    |
0018|     regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal
    |
0019|     year 1997 for the purpose of sponsoring an expanded Hispanic
    |
0020|     youth leadership development program.  Any unexpended or
    |
0021|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997
    |
0022|     shall revert to the general fund.
