0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE STATE HISTORIC PRESERVATION

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars
    |
0018|     ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the historic
    |
0019|     preservation division of the office of cultural affairs for
    |
0020|     expenditure in fiscal year 1997 for the purpose of implementing
    |
0021|     provisions of the Cultural Properties Protection Act.  Any
    |
0022|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0023|     fiscal year 1997 shall not revert to the general fund.
