0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CORRECTIONS DEPARTMENT FOR THE

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Three million dollars
    |
0018|     ($3,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0019|     corrections department for expenditure in fiscal year 1997 for
    |
0020|     the purpose of funding the expansion of community corrections
    |
0021|     programming.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
    |
0022|     at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
