0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred ninety-five
    |
0018|     thousand dollars ($295,000) is appropriated from the general
    |
0019|     fund to the board of regents of western New Mexico university
    |
0020|     for expenditure in fiscal year 1997 for the purpose of funding
    |

0021|     nursing and occupational therapy programs at western New Mexico
    |
0022|     university.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
    |
0023|     the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
