0012| RELATING TO THE CHRISTMAS TREE TAG FEE; AMENDING AND REPEALING

0013| CERTAIN SECTIONS OF THE NMSA 1978.

0015| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
|
0016| Section 1. Section 68-2-28 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1987,
|
0017| Chapter 143, Section 6) is amended to read:
|
0018| "68-2-28. FOREST LAND PROTECTION REVOLVING FUND CREATED.--There is created in the state treasury a revolving fund to be
|
0019| known as the "forest land protection revolving fund". The
|
0020| forest land protection revolving fund shall consist of all
|
0021| receipts as provided by [Sections 68-2-22.1 and] Section 68-2-26 NMSA 1978. Expenditures may be made from the forest land
|
0022| protection revolving fund upon vouchers signed by the state
|
0023| forester and warrants issued by the secretary of finance and
|
0024| administration for the administration and enforcement of the
|
0025|
|
0001| Forest Conservation Act. Money in the forest land protection
|
0002| revolving fund shall not revert to the general fund."
|
0003| Section 2. REPEAL.--Section 68-2-22.1 NMSA 1978 (being Laws
|
0004| 1987, Chapter 143, Section 3) is repealed.
