0017|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0018|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars
    |
0019|     ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of
    |
0020|     cultural affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 1997 for the
    |
0021|     purpose of contracting for the performance of a children's
    |
0022|     musical to provide environmental education to elementary 
    |
0023|     school-aged children in the Albuquerque area and in selected
    |
0024|     locations throughout the state.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0025|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to
    |
0001|         the general fund.
