     Your APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom
  has been referred
  
                        SENATE BILL 438
                                
                                 has had it under consideration and reports same with
  recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
     1.   On page 1, line 19, after the period insert:
  
  "The appropriation set forth in Subsection A of Section 28 of Chapter
  222 of Laws 1995 shall not revert at the end of fiscal year 1999 but
  shall revert upon distribution of the appropriation set forth in this
  section.".
