0012| MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE COURT SERVICES IN GRANT, LUNA

0013| AND HIDALGO COUNTIES.

0015| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
|
0016| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--
|
0017| A. Sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) is appropriated
|
0018| from the general fund to the sixth judicial district for
|
0019| expenditure in fiscal year 1997. The appropriation shall be
|
0020| spent in the following manner:
|
0021| (1) fifty-five thousand dollars ($55,000) to
|
0022| contract for a special master to hear matters requiring
|
0023| expedited hearing in Grant, Luna and Hidalgo counties; and
|
0024| (2) five thousand dollars ($5,000) for the
|
0025| court-appointed special advocate program.
|
0001| B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
|
0002| at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
