0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A NEEDS ASSESSMENT FOR POST-SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICES IN SANDOVAL COUNTY; DECLARING AN

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Forty thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($40,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0018|     commission on higher education for expenditure in fiscal years
    |
0019|     1996 and 1997 for the purpose of performing a needs assessment,
    |
0020|     including identification of location, educational level and
    |
0021|     number of students to be served, scope of courses and sources of
    |
0022|     funding for post-secondary educational services to be located in
    |
0023|     Sandoval county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0024|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the
    |
0025|     general fund.
    |
0001|       Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0002|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
