  Mr. President:
  
    Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
  
                          SENATE BILL 808
  
  has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation
  that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
    1.  On page 3, between lines 14 and 15, insert the following new
  subsection:                    
  
     "G.  A person who operates a public water supply system and
  who charges an administration water conservation fee shall pay for
  water testing necessary for compliance with the federal Safe Drinking
  Water Act, as amended.  Collected fees shall be deposited into the
  water conservation fund.".
  
    2.  Reletter the succeeding subsection accordingly.
