0012| MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR CERTAIN STATE AGENCY PROJECTS AND
|
0013| PROGRAMS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
|

0015| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
|
0016| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four million dollars
|
0017| ($4,000,000) is appropriated from the subsequent injury fund to
|
0018| the development training fund for expenditure in fiscal year
|
0019| 1997 for the purpose of paying for in-plant development training
|
0020| programs conducted pursuant to the provisions of Section 21-19-7
|
0021| NMSA 1978. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
|
0022| the end of fiscal year 1997 shall not revert to the subsequent
|
0023| injury fund.
|
0024| Section 2. APPROPRIATION.--Two million five hundred
|
0025| thousand dollars ($2,500,000) is appropriated from the general
|
0001| fund to the corrections department for expenditure in fiscal
|
0002| year 1997 for the purpose of paying for the operational expenses
|
0003| of that department. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
|
0004| remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the
|
0005| general fund.
|
0006| Section 3. APPROPRIATION.--Three million dollars
|
0007| ($3,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the human
|
0008| services department for expenditure in fiscal year 1997 for the
|
0009| purpose of providing medicaid payments. Any unexpended or
|
0010| unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997
|
0011| shall revert to the general fund.
|
0012| Section 4. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars
|
0013| ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the property
|
0014| control division of the general services department for
|
0015| expenditure in fiscal year 1997 for the purpose of paying for
|
0016| utility and maintenance costs at Fort Stanton hospital. Any
|
0017| unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
|
0018| fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
|
0019| Section 5. APPROPRIATION.--One million three hundred
|
0020| thousand dollars ($1,300,000) is appropriated from the general
|
0021| fund to the taxation and revenue department for expenditure in
|
0022| fiscal year 1997 for the purpose of making payments to the
|
0023| information systems division of the general services department
|
0024| for expenses incurred for use of the ONGARD system. Any
|
0025| unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
|
0001| fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
|

|
0003| Section 6. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars
|
0004| ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office
|
0005| of the governor for expenditure in fiscal year 1997 for the
|
0006| purpose of implementing the provisions of Laws 1996, Chapter 44
|
0007| creating and providing for the office on information and
|
0008| communication management, the chief information officer and the
|
0009| technical advisory committee. Any unexpended or unencumbered
|
0010| balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to
|
0011| the general fund.
|
0012| Section 7. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
|
0013| peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
