Section 35-1-30 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1968, Chapter 62, Section 32) is | 0008| amended to read: | 0009| "35-1-30. MAGISTRATE COURT--SIERRA DISTRICT.--There shall be two | 0010| magistrates in Sierra magistrate district with divisions one and two operating as a single court in | 0011| Truth or Consequences." | 0012| Section 2. TEMPORARY PROVISION--ELECTION--DIVISION TWO.--The | 0013| first full term of the office of magistrate in the Sierra magistrate district division two shall | 0014| be filled by election at the general election in 1998, and that term of office shall begin on | 0015| January 1, 1999. |
