0011|     RELATING TO STATE GOVERNMENT; REQUIRING STATE AGENCIES TO

0012|     PUBLISH AT LEAST ONE TELEPHONE NUMBER IN THE GOVERNMENT SECTION

0013|     OF EACH PUBLIC TELEPHONE BOOK IN THE STATE; MAKING AN

0014|     APPROPRIATION.

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0017|          Section 1.  STATE AGENCIES--TELEPHONE NUMBERS--
    |
0018|     PUBLISHING.--Every department, independent board and
    |
0019|     independent commission of the government of the state of New
    |
0020|     Mexico that has one or more telephone numbers shall cause to be
    |
0021|     published in the government section of each public telephone
    |
0022|     directory in the state at least one general information
    |
0023|     telephone number.
    |
0024|          Section 2.  APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars
    |
0025|     ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the general
    |
0001|     services department for expenditure in fiscal year 1998 for the
    |
0002|     purpose of paying for the publication of state agency telephone
    |
0003|     numbers pursuant to the provisions of Section 1 of this act. 
    |
0004|     Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0005|     fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
