0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR

0012|     TREATMENT AND SERVICES FOR ELIGIBLE DISABLED AND ELDERLY

0013|     PERSONS CURRENTLY UNSERVED DUE TO LACK OF FUNDING.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION--DISABLED AND ELDERLY.--One
    |
0017|     million four hundred ninety thousand dollars ($1,490,000) is
    |
0018|     appropriated from the general fund to the department of health
    |
0019|     for expenditure in fiscal year 1998 for the purpose of
    |
0020|     providing treatment and services for eligible disabled and
    |
0021|     elderly persons currently not being served due to lack of
    |
0022|     available funding.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0023|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the
    |
0024|     general fund.
