0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR CONTINUATION OF CERTAIN STATEWIDE

0012|     COMMUNITY PROGRAMS FOR LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One million dollars
    |
0016|     ($1,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     community development and commodities section of the income
    |
0018|     support division of the human services department for
    |
0019|     expenditure in fiscal year 1998 for the purpose of providing
    |
0020|     statewide community service block grant funding of housing,
    |
0021|     nutrition, utility support, job referral, counseling, tutoring
    |
0022|     and outreach services and programs for low-income individuals
    |
0023|     in need of assistance.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0024|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the
    |
