  Mr. Speaker:
  
       Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
  
                        HOUSE BILL 590
                               
  has had it under consideration and reports same with
  recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
       1.  On page 2, line 15, after "award" strike "damages,".
  
       2.  On page 2, line 20, after the period insert:
  
  "A public body defendant that prevails in a court action brought
  under this section shall be awarded its reasonable attorney fees
  from the plaintiff if the plaintiff brought the action without
  sufficient information and belief that good grounds supported it.".
