       Your CONSUMER AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to
  whom has been referred
  
                        HOUSE BILL 649
  
  has had it under consideration and reports same with
  recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
       1.  On page 4, line 23, strike "trucks" and insert in lieu
  thereof "truck tractors".
  
       2.  On page 4, line 24, after "vehicles" insert ", multi-
  purpose passenger vehicles".
  
       3.  On page 4, line 24, after the period, insert "The
  provisions of this section shall not apply to motor vehicle glazing
  which complies with federal motor vehicle standards.".,
  
  and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE
  COMMITTEE.
