  Mr. Speaker:
  
       Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
  
                        HOUSE BILL 963
  
  has had it under consideration and reports same with
  recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
       1.   On page 1, lines 16 and 17, strike "Fifteen thousand
  dollars ($15,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "Three hundred fifty
  thousand dollars ($350,000)".
  
       2.   On page 1, line 21, after the period insert "Local
  matching funds equal to this appropriation will be required.".
  
       3.   On page 1, line 23, before the period insert
  "nonrecurring appropriation".,
  
  and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE
  COMMITTEE.
