0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO DEVELOP EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH

0012|     PROGRAMS FOR THE RATITE INDUSTRY THROUGH THE BOARD OF REGENTS

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand
    |
0017|     dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0018|     board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure
    |
0019|     in fiscal year 1998 for the purpose of providing education and
    |
0020|     research for the ratite industry.  Any unexpended or
    |
0021|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998
    |
0022|     shall revert to the general fund.
