0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE INSTRUCTIONAL SERVICES AND

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state
    |
0018|     department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0019|     1998 for the purpose of providing instructional services and
    |
0020|     purchasing needed materials for the after-school academy for
    |
0021|     at-risk students at Alamosa elementary school in Albuquerque. 
    |
0022|     Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0023|     fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
