0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE COMMISSION ON HIGHER EDUCATION

0012|     FOR THE NEW MEXICO ADVANCED-PLACEMENT PROGRAM.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand
    |
0016|     dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     commission on higher education for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0018|     1998 for the purpose of continuing and expanding public high
    |
0019|     school student and teacher participation in the New Mexico
    |
0020|     advanced-placement program.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0021|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert
    |
0022|     to the general fund.
