0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR A

0012|     HIGH SCHOOL BRIDGE PILOT PROGRAM.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand 
    |
0016|     dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     board of regents of the university of New Mexico for
    |
0018|     expenditure in fiscal year 1998 for a high school-university
    |
0019|     bridge pilot project for high school seniors to participate in
    |
0020|     a campus residential work-study program for university or high
    |
0021|     school credit.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0022|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the
    |
0023|     general fund.
