0011|     RELATING TO WATER; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE STATE

0012|     ENGINEER FOR CONTINUED SPONSORSHIP OF PROJECT DEL RIO.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state
    |
0017|     engineer for expenditure in fiscal year 1998 for the purpose of
    |
0018|     compiling, evaluating and maintaining data on water quality
    |
0019|     collected by students of Rio Grande area high schools
    |
0020|     participating in project Del Rio.  Any unexpended or
    |
0021|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998
    |
0022|     shall revert to the general fund.
