0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE TWELFTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT FOR A

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Forty thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($40,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the twelfth
    |
0017|     judicial district for expenditure in fiscal year 1998 for the
    |
0018|     purpose of hiring an independent contractor as guardian ad
    |
0019|     litem.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the
    |
0020|     end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
