0011|     RELATING TO CAPITAL EXPENDITURES; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR

0012|     THE PURCHASE OF A BOMB ROBOT FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE

0013|     CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE IN BERNALILLO COUNTY; DECLARING AN
    |
0014|     EMERGENCY.

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred seventy-five
    |
0018|     thousand dollars ($175,000) is appropriated from the general
    |
0019|     fund to the local government division of the department of
    |
0020|     finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal years 1997
    |
0021|     and 1998 for the purchase of a bomb robot for the police
    |
0022|     department of the city of Albuquerque in Bernalillo county. 
    |
0023|     Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0024|     fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0025|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0001|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
