0014|     AGENCY ON AGING FOR SENIOR CITIZENS AT NENAHNEZAD CHAPTER IN

0015|     SAN JUAN COUNTY; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0017|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0018|          Section 1.  GENERAL FUND--CHANGE IN AGENCY--CHANGE IN
    |
0019|     PURPOSE--APPROPRIATION.--The balance of the general fund
    |
0020|     appropriation made to the state highway and transportation
    |
0021|     department pursuant to Subsection L of Section 34 of Chapter 4
    |
0022|     of Laws 1996 (1st S.S.) for the purpose of planning and
    |
0023|     designing archaeological, environmental and ethnographic
    |
0024|     assessments and preliminary design specifications for the
    |
0025|     Nenahnezad chapter school bus route improvements located in San
    |
0001|     Juan county shall not be expended for its original purpose but
    |
0002|     is appropriated to the state agency on aging to purchase a van
    |
0003|     for and equip and furnish the senior citizen center at
    |
0004|     Nenahnezad chapter in San Juan county.
    |
0005|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0006|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
