0013| PREMISES; PROVIDING PENALTIES; REPEALING AND ENACTING SECTIONS

0016| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0017| Section 1. A new section of the Liquor Control Act is
|
0018| enacted to read:
|
0019| "[NEW MATERIAL] SALE OF KEGS OF BEER PROHIBITED.--It is
|
0020| a violation of the Liquor Control Act for a retailer to sell a
|
0021| keg of beer for consumption off the licensed premises. As used
|
0022| in this section, "keg" means a package of beer containing more
|
0023| than six gallons of beer at the time it is sold."

0024| Section 2. REPEAL.--Section 60-7B-12 NMSA 1978 (being
|
0025| Laws 1989, Chapter 140, Section 1) is repealed.

0001| Section 3. EFFECTIVE DATE.--The effective date of the
|
0002| provisions of this act is July 1, 1997.
