0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM THE STATE ROAD FUND TO ACQUIRE

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Seven hundred thirty-three
    |
0017|     thousand seven hundred eighty-six dollars ($733,786) is
    |
0018|     appropriated from the state road fund to the state highway and
    |
0019|     transportation department for expenditure in fiscal years 1998
    |
0020|     through 2001 for the purpose of acquiring land, planning,
    |
0021|     designing, constructing or equipping a maintenance patrol yard
    |
0022|     near Eagle Nest located in Colfax county.  Any unexpended or
    |
0023|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001
    |
0024|     shall revert to the state road fund.
