0011| RELATING TO CAPITAL EXPENDITURES; MAKING APPROPRIATIONS TO

0012| PURCHASE EQUIPMENT AND MAKE MECHANICAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE

0013| MINERS' COLFAX MEDICAL CENTER LOCATED IN COLFAX COUNTY;

0014| DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0016| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
|
0017| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--
|
0018| A. Three hundred forty-six thousand five hundred
|
0019| forty-three dollars ($346,543) is appropriated from the miners'
|
0020| trust fund to the miners' Colfax medical center for expenditure
|
0021| in fiscal years 1997 through 2001 for the following purposes:
|
0022| (1) thirty-one thousand dollars ($31,000) to
|
0023| purchase a bone densitometer; and
|
0024| (2) three hundred fifteen thousand five
|
0025| hundred forty-three dollars ($315,543) to make mechanical
|
0001| improvements to the miners' Colfax medical center.
|
0002| B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
|
0003| at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the miners'
|
0004| trust fund.
|
0005| Section 2. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
|
0006| peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
