0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SUPPORT OF A YOUTH PROGRAM IN

0012|     ROSWELL IN CHAVES COUNTY; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Twelve thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($12,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the energy,
    |
0017|     minerals and natural resources department for expenditure in
    |
0018|     fiscal years 1997 and 1998 for the purpose of supporting a
    |
0019|     youth conservation corps program in Roswell in Chaves county. 
    |
0020|     Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0021|     fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0022|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0023|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
