0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ASSIST PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES IN

0012|     ACCESSING HOUSING RESOURCES.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     governor's committee on concerns of the handicapped for
    |
0018|     expenditure in fiscal year 1998 for the purpose of assisting
    |
0019|     persons with disabilities in accessing public and private

    |
0020|     affordable and accessible housing resources to find the best
    |
0021|     available housing, including home ownership.  Any unexpended or
    |
0022|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998
    |
0023|     shall revert to the general fund.
