0011|     RELATING TO LAW ENFORCEMENT; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO SUPPORT

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|               Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Eight thousand eight
    |
0016|     hundred dollars ($8,800) is appropriated from the general fund
    |
0017|     to the department of public safety for expenditure in fiscal
    |
0018|     year 1998 for the purpose of assisting citizen education on
    |
0019|     community safety techniques in the community of Chaparral in
    |
0020|     Otero county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
    |
0021|     at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general
    |
0022|     fund.
