0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE HOUSING ASSISTANCE TO TEN

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New
    |
0017|     Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0018|     1998 for the purpose of providing housing assistance to ten
    |
0019|     veterans in the Pinedale Navajo chapter area in McKinley
    |
0020|     county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
    |
0021|     the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
