0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ESTABLISH SATELLITE OFFICE OF THE

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New
    |
0018|     Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0019|     1998 for the purpose of establishing a satellite office of the
    |
0020|     New Mexico office of Indian affairs in Shiprock in San Juan
    |
0021|     county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
    |
0022|     the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.

0018|       2.  On page 1, lines 15 and 16, strike "Fifty thousand
    |
0019|   dollars ($50,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "Two hundred fifty
    |
