On page 2, between lines 9 and 10, insert: "BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the New Mexico legislative council instruct the committee to propose legislation that would bring the Pawnbrokers Act into compliance with federal law and seek industry involvement in rewriting the provisions of that act; and". 2. On page 2, line 10, strike "legislature" and insert in lieu thereof "legislative council"., and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
